Meet Our Mutts

Meet our adoptable dogs!

We do our best to update our website regularly but visit us on Facebook for pictures galore!

You can still apply for a dog you have recently seen on Facebook, even if you don't see them on this site! Please message us on Facebook or email us at misplacedmutts@gmail.com with any additional questions you might have!

We are a foster based program so our dogs are living in foster homes, working on house training, crate training, basic manners etc. We are excited to work with you to find you the right dog for your home and lifestyle!

Charlie3.jpg

Charlie

When owners pass away, there isn’t always family to take in the orphaned pet. This was the case for sweet senior, Charlie, when his momma recently passed away. We will honor his lost momma by getting his vet care up to date and finding him a comfortable retirement home where he can be loved in his golden years. He had some fleas and his skin needs some healing. Charlie will be feeling his best in no time. Stay tuned for more updates!

Claire.jpg

Claire

Claire is nothing but smiles and happiness all the time. This girl is an 8 month old mixed breed cutie that weighs just under 30 pounds. Shes energetic, playful and ready to take on the world. Her foster has done such a wonderful job socializing her, taking her out into the community and working on training but now all she is in need of is a home of her very own!

Stewart3.jpg

Stewart

Meet Stewart, a 2–4-year-old neutered pup who came to us from Craven Shelter scared, stressed, and badly matted after being surrendered. He needed time to decompress and initially struggled with a fear of being handled, but in just a couple of weeks he has made remarkable progress and continues to gain confidence. Stewart is crate trained, house trained, food motivated, and does great with other dogs (and would be fine with cats). He enjoys walks once he’s comfortable and would do best in a patient, understanding home with a fully fenced yard where he can warm up at his own pace. Stewart wants love and connection—he’s just learning how to accept it on his terms, and he is absolutely worth the time and care it takes to earn his trust. At this time, with his lack of confidence with new people, we do not recommend him to a home with young children.
